Hosting or On Premise

On Premise means that your servers are located at your place and are part of your IT infrastructure. Of course, APS is ready for that. But not everybody can or wants to operate fast, secure and reliable (read: expensive) servers himself or herself. But we do. Therefore, you have the choice to run the server yourself or to let us host your APS application for you. We will look after your system without any additional costs. The decision is yours and you’re free to reconsider it anytime you want.

We know from experience that many museums, libraries and public archives in particular don’t want to operate the server architecture required for APS. In most cases, time and money are given as reasons. To those customers, our hosting is an attractive opportunity to keep the costs down.
