For cataloging the objects of your collection and their data, we recommend you work with APS Desktop. The program is user-friendly, despite the great functionality we put into it. With APS Desktop, we offer a comfortable editing tool which allows you to enter data in any complexity to your database.

In APS Desktop, you manage the objects of your museum through documents. Documents themselves consist of elements. Elements can be organized hierarchically and may have more than one entity. The Elastic Forms feature of APS gives you a maximum of latitude. You can even include different taxonomies in the same database. Changes to the structure of the database are not needed, because you simply declare the data structure, but without any programming. Experienced users tend to do these changes themselves.

Migrating data from other systems to APS is a breeze, because APS lets you import csv and xml data directly. Exporting data from APS is possible in xml format as well. In case you need to import data from other systems or formats, please let us know. We do have import tools for a number of standard systems readily available.
